Zowie Gear was founded in 2008 and is arguably the leading e-Sports peripheral manufacturer in the world. Zowie's slogan, "STRIVE FOR PERFECTION", clearly indicates the goals of the manufacturer and provided that a company can deliver on a slogan like that, they should have no trouble at all with becoming a well sought-after brand. Many believe that a large part of Zowie Gear's success stems from their peripherals having two legendary e-Sports players, Emil "HeatoN" Christensen and Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed in the development team.

As most of us have become aware, Bravado Gaming has been making a fair amount of roster changes, which is to be expected in a new year. Apart from making changes in their bread and butter title, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, they have also added an entirely new line-up to their second staple game, Defense of the Ancients 2 (DOTA 2).

On Wednesday the 1st of March, Bravado Gaming faced of against Energy eSports in the Mettlestate debut exhibition match, which had R50 000 (~$3800) on the line. That's quite a sum for an exhibition match... To the surprise of most, Bravado Gaming lost the series 2-1. Despite none of the boys in blue slacking off in terms of frags, they were defeated rather convincingly on Mirage, with a score-line of 16-6 and on Overpass with a score-line of 16-11.

Bravado Gaming, the most prestigious MGO in South Africa, arguably in the whole continent, has recently decided to venture into uncharted territories for the MGO. We have seen Call of Duty teams for Bravado Gaming in the past, however, these teams played the title on the PC platform. Although Bravado's PC Call of Duty line-ups were fairly successful, they decided to go back to their roots and focus on Counter Strike and Quake, games which were far more popular on the platform.

As many of you may have heard, our Defense of the Ancients 2 (DotA2) squad is no more. After 3 very successful years, with a massive winning streak, our players have decided to part ways for different reasons. Although this may come as a shock to some of you, we believe that our former players have made the correct choices, based on their life situations at the current moment. But this isn't the end for Bravado Gaming DotA2 - read more as we explain our plans and initiatives.

We’ve been working very hard for the past few months in order to make our plans for 2017 a solid realization and although they haven't been finalized yet, we have to unfortunately announce that we will not be entering the 2017 Telkom Digital Gaming League Masters program, but will rather be entering through their qualifying cups. We would like to announce our new CS:GO squad. This includes a line-up change of two players who have retired from our roster, for separate reasons. We would like to welcome two new individuals to Bravado Gaming for the 2017 season and we can't wait to get started!
