He began his professional Counter-Strike career in 2006 when the founding squad of Bravado Gaming was created. Today he captains his squad and analyses all situations to allow the team to maintain their performance on an international standard.

Ruan is currently the ‘glue’ between the squad playing the role of ‘support’, always ensuring that both sides of the map are effective, efficient and maintained for victory.

Dillon Charalambous

Dillon has been considered to be one of South Africa's most versatile players. In addition, this individual boasts a high level of consistency, ensuring a high level performance, socially and competitively. Dillon was also rated as the Most Valued Player in 2015 after the MGMS event. Working from strength-to-strength, Lithium is the team captain for the squad, displaying a valuable amount of leadership.

Hameed has been considered to be one of the best Search and Destroy players in the country. His skillset includes and has proven that this individual can succeed in clutch situations, over and over again. Viper is a veteran of the South African Call-of-Duty Console scene.

First being introduced to the Call of Duty world back in Black Ops 2, Alton only discovered his passion for competitive gaming in the early stages of Advanced Warfare. The first serious team he played for was Astra Gaming, where he dominated throughout the lifespan of Advanced Warfare with multiple first place finishes. After taking a few months off from competing, Alton is back and ready go work his way back to the top.

Rahil started his competitive career in South Africa. He strives to become the best at what he does and that is what drives him to practice and improve every single day. His favourite part of competing is the challenge of having to play against other professional players on a similar skill level which allows him to learn new strategies, test his skill and improve as an individual and teammate.

Keaton discovered online gaming at 13 and like most of us, got completely hooked. The competitive side only got grips of him a year or two after his initial interaction with online multiplayer. Being one of the most decorated COD players under the infamous Astra lineup, Keaton has bagged multiple victories. The new goal for the new title is to place first and eventually make his way overseas with Bravado Gaming.

Being addicted to games has never really stopped Jana since the first time she played at 8 years old. Like many, upon being introduced to Counter-Strike, she felt at home because of the community. She initially wasn't a big fan of the game due to its somewhat violent nature, but grew to love it and has become extremely successful in it. Her goal is to further South African gaming and E-Sports.

Kayhla Calder

Kayhla started gaming at around 4 years with Super Mario. After years of enjoying countless classics casually, she was invited into Counter-Strike and hasn't been able to put it down. When Kayhla met her teammates Christin and Jana, she had no previous competitive experience and had very little interest in it. Taking the dive is one of the best decisions she has made and is proud of what she and her team have achieved.

Rachel got into gaming through her brother who was the gamer in the family. She occasionally joined in on the PlayStation until she finally got a pc. She started off playing Battlefield 3 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Eventually she started playing Counter Strike and with the help of "zipzipza", started to improve to where she is now, a tournament winner. Rachel is extremely competitive and determined.

Christin has always been a sportswoman and has been able to adapt to any sport that came her way. After a period of dealing with an injury, her doctor gave her the sad news that she was not allowed to participate for a while if she wanted to walk when she was older. She needed an outlet for her competitive drive and found it in gaming. The drive to beat her brother at gaming leading to her success in the competitive CS:GO.

Carmen Joe Mcleod

Carmen has always been involved in gaming, be it on console or PC. She moved from a PS1 and PS2 over to the PC and started playing DOTA2 after a friend taught her the ropes. She first started her competitive gaming career playing Call of Duty, then moved over to DOTA2 and met Counter-Strike players. They introduced her to it and she got hooked. She has shown her prowess since then by winning the first Valkyrie Challenge and having many other accolades in the title as well.

Wasim, a 3 times ESWC SA Qualifiers Grand Finalist, first started playing competitively at live events around 2014. Passion and enjoyment of the game is what drives him along with his desire to improve. He enjoys competing against top players and thinks that the vibe and ambience of tournaments makes it a whole lot more enjoyable and as well as being pushed to the absolute limit. This individual thrives from pressure situations.

Masoom started gaming at around 10 years old and only moved into the competitive side of things in 2016. Despite having had little time in the competitive scene, Masoom is one of the most decorated players in South Africa. He has won EGE in 2016 for Fifa, won ESWC 1st Leg in 2016, the City of Cape Town Esports Weekend in 2017 and managed to finish a whopping 2nd in the Rest of the World Region and as a result, was invited to compete at the World FIWC Regional in Qatar.

Zaahid first competed in FIFA, Kosta Games tournament a few years back. Since then, he has grown to be one of the most skilled FIFA players in the country, having an Adidas Base event under his belt as well as many other high placings. Being a fanatic of soccer and FIFA allows him to enjoy what he does best, being competitive.
