Bravado Gaming - January update 2025
Bravado Gaming inform the public about their future sponsorship status and plans moving into 2025
January 15, 2025

For the past decade, we at Bravado Gaming have been privileged enough to work alongside some of the largest names within the gaming industry to fuel our passion for esports. The identity we formed and the goals we continually chased because of this collaboration have been understandably shaken with our new reality of operating as a fully independent organisation.

Moving forward for Bravado, we felt it important to communicate our path forward with our fans so that there is no doubt that we will continue to Bring the Bravado in spite of the challenges we now face. The key topics we want to focus on are: our current sponsorship status, our involvement in MENA, Project Destiny 2.0 and our CS2 team, and what our scope of operation is going to look like in 2025 onwards.

As it stands at the time of writing, we have not been able to secure any additional partnerships that are worthwhile for the future of Bravado. This obviously hinders our ability to operate at the scale which we have grown comfortable with, and our plans for how we have chosen to adapt and proceed will be detailed further below. If you represent a brand who may be interested in working with us, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at bvd@bravadogaming.com or through our form in the contact section

With the Middle Eastern region being a key strategic interest for our prior partners, we had the joy of exploring the many talents the area had to offer in some of the hottest titles. However, when it came to planning our path forwards, we came to realise that we want to grow where our roots are strongest, and water the soil that has supported us the most for our nineteen years of operation. It is with this that we say farewell to the Middle Eastern region for the time being, and thank you for their support over the past five years.

As for Project Destiny 2.0, unfortunately we have had the hard pill to swallow that the finances required for this project are unattainable at present, and that we cannot continue the project as it stands. Our CS2 team will continue to compete and dominate within the ZA region with the addition of FROZ3N, honing their skills as best as possible until we are able to return to Europe with Project Destiny 2.1. Achieving a top 30 ranking and showcasing African esports on the world stage remains fixed in sight as our ultimate goal as an organisation, even if it means putting this vision on pause as we find a means of enabling it.

Then lastly, Bravado’s scope of operation for 2025 will be focused very heavily on our Counter-Strike division. Counter-Strike has forever been our core identity, and we have not forgotten this. Circumstances permitting, we would love to adopt more titles and talents within the entirety of the African region, re-establishing Bravado’s local dominance throughout the continent.

We want to thank our fans for their continued support of Bravado as we enter a new chapter in our story. We will be sure to update everyone as soon as we have news to share. For now, keep Bringing the Bravado, and we will continue to see you on the server.
